What it involves
For body laxity we work on skin quality and firmness by stimulating your own collagen production. After assessing the area (abdomen, arms, inner thighs…) we design a plan combining the most suitable techniques for your goal, always with clear, realistic expectations.
Benefits
- Firmer skin
- Stimulates collagen
- Tailored plan
Who is it for?
This treatment is suitable for people who notice a loss of firmness or tone in the body skin, particularly in areas such as the abdomen, arms or inner thighs, and who are looking for natural results with realistic expectations. During the prior medical assessment we evaluate together the degree of laxity and skin quality to make sure aesthetic medicine is the right option for you.
It is important to bear in mind that when laxity is very pronounced or there is a significant excess of skin, aesthetic treatments can improve skin quality but cannot replace surgery. We will be honest with you about this from the very first appointment.
What the session is like
Before any session we carry out a medical assessment in which we analyse the area to be treated, skin quality and your goals. From there we design a tailored plan combining the most appropriate techniques for each area, whether that is the abdomen, arms or inner thighs.
Each session lasts approximately one hour. During the treatment we work directly on the skin to stimulate your own collagen production; the sensation is generally well tolerated, and we explain each step so that you feel comfortable throughout.
Results and how long they last
Results are progressive, as they are based on stimulating your own collagen: the skin gradually gains firmness and quality over the weeks and sessions. The most noticeable changes are typically perceived once the plan designed at the initial assessment has been completed.
To maintain results over time we recommend periodic maintenance sessions, as the natural ageing process continues. At each review we assess how your skin has responded and adjust the plan if needed.
Aftercare
After each session it is normal to experience some redness or sensitivity in the treated area, which usually subsides within a few hours. We will give you specific aftercare instructions depending on the techniques used, but as a general rule we recommend avoiding intense sun exposure and keeping the skin well moisturised.
There is no need for rest or to interrupt your usual routine. That said, it is important to follow the guidelines we provide to protect the area and support your skin's response to the treatment.
