Loss of cheek volume

Restore lost cheek volume and bring natural definition and harmony back to your face.

Loss of cheek volume

What it involves

Over time, the cheek area loses volume and support, which can flatten the mid-face and accentuate a tired look. During your consultation we assess your case and, when appropriate, address this loss with hyaluronic acid to replace just the right amount of volume and rebalance facial proportions. The goal is always a natural result, true to your features.

Benefits

  • More defined cheeks
  • Rested, harmonious face
  • Natural-looking result

Who is it for?

This may be for you if your cheeks look flat or have descended, your mid-face seems dull, or you want to regain definition without changing your expression. After a personalised assessment, the doctor confirms whether this option suits your case. It is not indicated during pregnancy, breastfeeding or with active infections in the area.

What the session is like

The session begins with a study of your face to plan where and how much volume to restore. We apply the product with a precise technique, usually with a cannula or needle, and we generally use topical anaesthetic for your comfort. The session takes roughly 30 to 45 minutes.

Results and how long they last

The change is visible from the very first moment and settles fully within one or two weeks, once any initial swelling subsides. Duration varies from person to person and with the product used, typically lasting between 12 and 18 months. Periodic touch-ups may be needed to maintain the result.

Aftercare

It is normal to notice mild swelling, redness or a small bruise that resolves within a few days. During the first 24-48 hours it is best to avoid intense heat, demanding exercise and touching the area. The doctor will give you specific instructions and will be available for any questions.

Frequently asked questions

Will it change my face or look artificial?
The aim is to enhance your own features by replacing only the volume you need. We work gradually and conservatively to achieve a natural result, not an attention-grabbing change.
Is the treatment painful?
It is usually very tolerable. We use topical anaesthetic and, in many cases, a cannula to minimise discomfort. Most people report only slight pressure during the application.
When can I get back to my normal routine?
You can return to your routine almost immediately. We only recommend taking care of the area during the first 24-48 hours and following the doctor's instructions.
