Deep hydration (Skinboosters)

What it involves

Skinboosters are micro-injections of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid that hydrate the skin from within and improve its quality. They enhance glow, texture and elasticity — ideal for the face, neck, décolleté and hands. They follow a protocol of several sessions for a progressive, long-lasting effect.

Benefits

  • Glow and hydration
  • Improves skin texture
  • Natural and progressive

Who is it for?

Skinboosters are suitable for anyone who notices their skin looking dull, dehydrated or lacking glow, regardless of age. They work particularly well when skin texture or elasticity has diminished over time, or as a preventive treatment to keep skin looking fresh and healthy.

We also consider them for areas that are often overlooked, such as the neck, décolleté and hands, where thinner skin shows signs of ageing sooner. During the consultation we assess your skin type and goals to confirm whether this is the most suitable treatment for you.

What the session is like

The session starts with a skin assessment and cleansing of the area to be treated. We apply a topical anaesthetic cream to minimise discomfort and, once it has taken effect, we carry out the micro-injections of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid systematically across the whole area. The session takes around 40 minutes.

The procedure is well tolerated. Our aim is to make the experience as comfortable as possible, so we always adapt our technique to each patient's comfort level.

Results and how long they last

Results are progressive: it is common to notice more hydrated, glowing skin from the first sessions, although improvements in texture and elasticity become more clearly visible throughout the full course of several sessions. We cannot guarantee identical results for every patient, as the response depends on skin type and individual starting point.

Once the initial protocol is complete, periodic maintenance sessions help to extend and preserve the result. During the consultation we will outline the schedule that best suits your skin and your goals.

Aftercare

After the session it is normal to notice some redness or small marks at the injection points, which usually resolve within a few hours. We recommend avoiding makeup and direct sun exposure for the first 24 hours, as well as intense physical exercise on the same day.

It is important to stay well hydrated and apply sun protection regularly, especially in the weeks following treatment. If you have any questions or notice anything unusual, please contact the clinic without waiting for your next appointment.

Frequently asked questions

Does the treatment hurt?
Discomfort is very manageable. We apply a topical anaesthetic cream before starting so that the micro-injections are as comfortable as possible. Most patients describe the sensation as mild pin-pricks. If you are particularly sensitive, let us know and we will adapt the protocol accordingly.
How many sessions are needed?
Skinboosters are carried out over a protocol of several spaced sessions, the number and frequency of which we assess individually according to your skin type and the result you are looking for. After the initial protocol, periodic maintenance sessions are usually recommended. During the consultation we will explain the most suitable schedule for you.
How are skinboosters different from hyaluronic acid fillers?
They are different products with different goals. Fillers use cross-linked hyaluronic acid (denser) to add volume and structure to specific areas such as the cheeks or chin. Skinboosters use non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which is more fluid, and are delivered in superficial micro-injections to hydrate the skin from within and improve its texture and glow, without adding structural volume.
Which areas can be treated?
Skinboosters are very versatile: they can be applied to the face (cheeks, forehead, eye area, lips), the neck, décolleté and hands. These last areas are often overlooked in conventional aesthetic medicine, but they respond very well to deep hydration. During the assessment we determine which areas will benefit most in your case.
